India´s Defence and Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Heavy Vehicles Factory Ltd (HVF) will build a second batch of ARJUN battle thanks for the country army service. The fleet composed by 124 units will complement 124 unit already procured. A project to integrate an all electric gun control system, improved ammunition and air conditioning devices is planned.

India current battle tanks fleet includes the T-72-M1 Ajeya, T-90S Bishma, ARJUN Mk1 and T-55 Gulmohar.

CAE India Ltd/Tata Advanced Systems Ltd is competing with Zen Technologies Ltd to provide containerized simulators for the T-72M1 and T-90S battle tanks.
