On behalf of the Portuguese Ministry of Defence, the DGAIED (Direcção -Geral de Armamento e Infra-
-Estruturas de Defesa) procurement agency will firm a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) agreement concerning cooperation within the PANDUR Users Group which comprise Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.

The Portuguese MoD procurement agency DGAIED has procured a total of 260 PANDUR II wheeled armoured vehicles in several configurations to GDELS-Steyr GmbH (part of General Dynamics European Land Systems), 240 units to equip the Portuguese Army Brigada de Intervenção (BrigInt) and 20 amphibian vehicles for the Portuguese Navy Fuzileiros.
